The Right Place for Her is a strategic advisory working at the intersection of women’s sport, access and long-term growth.
We help organisations move beyond intention and design the systems, pathways and strategies that allow women to thrive, in sport, leadership and community.
Women’s sport is entering a new phase.
Audiences are growing. Investment is rising. Visibility is no longer the problem.
The challenge now is what happens next:
Are there places for girls to play after they’re inspired?
Are leadership and coaching pathways actually opening?
Are organisations equipped to turn momentum into lasting impact?
The Right Place for Her exists to help bridge that gap.

Advising competitions, federations and organisations on growth, visibility and access in women’s sport.

Designing small, practical initiatives that test ideas, build momentum and inform broader strategy.

Supporting athletes and early-stage founders as they navigate transition, visibility, positioning and opportunity.

The Right Place for Her was founded by Clementine Painter, a sports & social impact strategist with over 20 years of experience across global sport, brands and community systems.
From launching France’s first digital fitness platform, to leading inclusion and sustainability work at adidas, Clémentine has worked across elite sport, grassroots delivery and innovation.
She currently advises the Billie Jean King Cup on strategic opportunities that support the competition’s growth and visibility within women’s sport, alongside advisory work with athletes, founders and organisations across Europe.
Occasional reflections, insights and resources on women’s sport, leadership and access. No noise. No sales. Just thoughtful updates.
